Privacy Notice
How we collect, use and look after your personal information.
Who we are
C2 Utility Reports provides desktop utility searches. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at sales@c2reports.co.uk or write to Office 21256, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA.
What we collect
When you request a quotation we collect your name, company, email address, optional phone number, the site address, postcode and coordinates, your site reference, any site plan you upload, any boundary you draw on our map, and anything you add in the additional information box. If you go on to order, we also handle payment and invoicing details.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send your quotation, and to carry out your search.
- To take payment, issue invoices and keep accounting records.
- To answer your questions and keep in touch about your order.
We use your information because it is needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to carry out that contract, to meet our legal and accounting duties, and for our legitimate interest in running our business.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed. This includes site details with the utility asset owners we contact for records, and with search services such as LSBUD. We also use trusted services to run our website and business, including Cloudflare (website hosting), FormSubmit (delivering quotation requests to us), Stripe (payments), and map and search services such as Esri, OpenStreetMap and postcodes.io when you use the map on our quotation page. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete it securely.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it. To do any of these, please email us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
